My car was broken into the other night. The driver's door lock and the trunk lock were dug out with a screwdriver. The sheet metal around it is a little torn up. They must have knocked a wire loose because my power locks won't work and my dome lights won't work either. Anybody have any idea how much this would cost to fix?

Check your fuses....maybe they popped it shorting out the courtesy light trying to open the door?

They did blow a fuse so thank you for that response. Was that a stab at my grammar as well?

Yes it was and a damn good one at him. It'll probably be a few hundred dollars to fix that if they damaged the sheet metal. If you could post a pic, we might be better able to estimate the damages.

My uncle talked to his boss and he is letting him use the shop(he does body work and painting) so I won't have to pay for labor. Lucky me, eh?
