tblanning Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 I have a 92 cutlass supreme and the heater fan is working intermiatently. seems after car warms up the heater fan stops. anyone know if there is a relay to look for or what else to check out. DiscoStudd Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 Okay too late for any advice, but did the fan work perfectly in "HIGH," and give you problems on the other speeds? That would be the "resistor pack" that went out on you, and is usually located either inside the airbox or near it. Sounds to me like that's what you ended up replacing ... tblanning Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 actually fan went out all together. underneather glove box there was a fuse and relay box and i found 2 relays that powered the fan. both had to be working for the fan to work.
