wyomingste
I was working on searching web sites for my new motor build when I come across one that shocked the living shit out of me. Not only does this guy have a turbo kit he also has headers for the V-6. This is off a Pontiac Fiero site but the motors are close to the same if not the exact same (except the distributor and of corse the turbo down pipe). Let me know if anyone thinks that this kit would work for the FWD models that we are driving. Turbo Kit: http://members.shaw.ca/turbofiero/Manual.htm Header: http://members.shaw.ca/turbofiero/fiero_headers.htm Hope that this helps with some projects. TeeJay3800
Looks cool, but those headers aren't really headers, are they? They don't even have equal length primaries. Basically they look like slightly improved stock manifolds.
herb427sc
Nice setup for a fiero.. Not much would work on a "W".
wyomingste
I guess that you could say they aren't headers but i'm sure that they would make some difference. What is the difference between the Fiero and a Grand Prix? Throtle body location Rear wheel drive Weight. Why would it matter if it was made for a Fiero it was built for a 2.8 or 3.1, you might have to modify the downpipe but why wouldn't it work? Robby1870
Those arent even close to being headers. In fact, they are close to being the stock manifolds.

Some of the reasons it won't work off the top of my head: The fiero uses an iron head 2.8 meaning exhaust ports won't be the same as a 3100 car, not only that but the rest of the exhaust probably won't mate up to it either. Intake manifold is laid out completely different so you'd have to fab up your own piping and whatnot. The computer is way different so you'd have to do your own computer work. Its also in a completely different platform car, so whos to say there wouldn't be stuff in the way of it if you tried to put it in a w car. Its a nice kit (I've seen nicer ones for Fieros, but that one does come close), but for a w-body I wouldn't waste my time adapting it. Your time would be better spent making your own custom turbo setup, or modifying the TGP one to fit your needs. Just my $.02. Shawn
