91GranSport Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 Was the Cutlass Supreme Convertible available in a 5-speed? I heard that it was and I also heard that it wasn't. I'd just like to verify that it was. If so, that'd be a pretty sweet ride. BTW: Did all Cutlass Supreme Convertible come with the 3.4 Twin Cam? Go4DaMo 1 Quote
Redfox340 Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 I've never seen (stock) or heard of a convertable in a 5-speed... only automatics. Some ragtops did have the 3.1L / 3100 but mainly most of them had the DOHC. - RedFox340 PS. Anyone done a Getrag swap on a convertable? Double the fun... Quote

I would think one or more snuck off the line. No 5 speed verts ever left GM. Yes, the Getrag 284 manual was offered in the coupes and sedans from 91-92. Earlier coupes and sedans could be had with the Getrag 282. The 284 was reserved for the LQ1's. Quote
