Guest RedCutlassSL
Well I got my car back, the tranny is shifting fine again. Except for one thing but I'll let the tranny shop deal with that, its covered under warranty. Anyway, the illumination for just my climate controls are very very dim. I hit it, and it went to full brightness. I was like ok, it works. I hit it again to see if it would stay, and it didn't. Now I can't get it back to full brightness. What do I have to replace to get it fix? Plz don't tell me the whole unit. Thanks guys
Guest RedCutlassSL
BTW, its not the auto climate control. Its standard.
NOHC_WBody
Ummmm....Keep hitting it? Look for a bad/weak ground on the climate control power leads.

ismellrealbad
Ummmm....Keep hitting it? Look for a bad/weak ground on the climate control power leads. this sounds like you performed a 'rob' fix/test. based on the results of this test you just have a loose connection somewhere. Brian P
remove from dash, replace bad/loose/poorly connected bulb. Bulbs may or may not be replaceable without taking apart, whatever it is will probably be easy
