terryk2003
it may be too deep for your dash...i know my cda-9833 was...i had to trim a few things behind the opening...
jeremy
it may be too deep for your dash that is very possible....years ago when I was going to replace the factory CD deck in my Euro3.4 so I could run a system, the deck I bought was too deep and I had to try to "make" rooms so it wouldn't stick out of the dash....I ended up returning the deck and keeping the stock cd unit and running an amp through a signal convertor
webbs
looked at crutchfield and noticed they realeased a new style of their head unit. With my 1995 CS it said all the new ones fit but none of the older style fit. I'm thinking about getting the Alpine CDE-9852. Here's a link to all of them http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UpRzYKTtpGH/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?o=p&c=3&avf=N&g=300&nvpair=FFBrand%7CAlpine#see_all
Supreme Cutlass
are there any wires behind the headunit space? I was planning on melting the plastic to fit.

94CutlassSLCoupe
most install plates will make the radio stick out an inch or more from where the factory head unit sat...it has always been more than enough for my pioneer
Supreme Cutlass
most install plates will make the radio stick out an inch or more from where the factory head unit sat...it has always been more than enough for my pioneer I DON'T want it to stick out! I've heard of people just bashing away the instrument panel to make it stick out less, I just want to know if melting/bending that part of the intrument panel wigh a heat gun will hurt anything (IE melt wire insulation, etc.)
