toastemcutlass Posted March 22, 2003 Report Share Posted March 22, 2003 so i made my self a front stb today and welded it to the tops of the strut towers( the part that comes off), I made room for the egr but still is rubbing. so b/f i could fix it i had to go to work. well as you accerate the motor shifts making a knocking sound as it hits the egr(i know it will get fixed tomorrow) any ways on the way home from work my car got its off the line power back and i was wondering if the egr is srewed up and this knocked something loose. the last couple months i have been able to still spin the tires but not really roast them, but know i can :? could this be the cause. Robby1870 Posted March 22, 2003 Report Share Posted March 22, 2003 I assume as with anything like the EGR or PCV or anything like that, if its screwed up, it will hurt performance.
