THe_DeTAiL3R
I was checking out http://1010tires.com and came across these, which look like a nice tire for the summer. I think they look damn cool too. I just want good replacement for my stock tire size. 225/60/16 http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebrand=Fuzion&tiremodel=ZRi Anyone have experience with this brand? jeremy
I've never heard of that brand tire, but I would assume that for $100 a tire you should be able to find a nice name brand tire in that size
loominaz34
It's a new brand, a joint venture between two major tire companies, bridgestone/firestone and somebody else, aimed at the new import tuner crowd. I haven't heard of anyone using them but they should be a pretty good tire, given the manufacturer.
GOT2B GM
I had them on my Z34 for 2 summers (04/05) and they are a excellent performing tire for the money. They never squeal or chirp. They just hook up. They stick really good in the corners too. The downside is they don't last for very long. I got about 40,000 kms out of them, and two are down to the wearbars and the other two are almost there. I have to buy new tires anyways for my new 18" 077's, and I think I'm gonna try something brand name and a little more expensive. But for the money and the performance I got, I can't really complain. Just make sure your alignment is good before getting new tires.

I really don't drive that much, so 40,000km is like 3-4 years for me. I want to get new struts also, so yeah I'd be getting my alignment and everything checked out too. 1990lumina
My dad has cheap ass Kuhmos on his Taurus....they've gone past their guarantee by 20,000km, and still have some thread wear left....they are a good economy tire. GOT2B GM
I bought mine 2 years ago in Waterloo, mounted and balanced, for just over $600 CDN including tax.
THe_DeTAiL3R
I bought mine 2 years ago in Waterloo, mounted and balanced, for just over $600 CDN including tax. Sweet I'm gonna call the Firestone place downtown and see if they'll give me a deal. I get discount at places like NAPA when I tell them where I work. Crazy K
I'm running yokohoma touring tires, they are pretty good, but the kumhos are very good too. I would not buy anything associated with firestone or goodyear. They are an inferior name brand, much worser quality than many off-brand tires I have seen. I also do not like the continental (touring?) contacts, they seem to go out of round and have tread seperation and such. As for the fuzion they sound alot like the Dunlop Sport A2's I've had. Run good, but have short lives.
1990lumina
I also do not like the continental My dad has some brand new ones on his Volvo....fuckin' great traction is snow and ice (or both)....we'll see what happens to them over time though
skalor
I have Fuzion ZRi 225/50/16s on Cutlass Supreme rims on my '89 Ciera. I've put about 1,000 miles on them and I like them so far. I think I like them better than the Kumho 711s I have on my TGP. They suck in the snow as one would expect but are pretty good in the rain. I think they are very similar to the Falken Ziex 512s that I used to have on those rims.
92chevyeuro
I have BFGoodrich traction t/a's on mine and i love them. Great traction in the rain, not too shabby in the snow either.
THe_DeTAiL3R
I have seperate wheels/tires for winter, so these would never see snow anyways..
supreme_style21
I've got those Fuzions.. just got them this past summer.. I think they were the HR's though. I noticed a big difference between them and the michelins that were on there before. The fuzions were really soft in the sidewall, so it felt like there was a lot of slop when turning.. took a lil' getting used to. They were cheap, but I dunno if I'd buy them again. THe_DeTAiL3R
Well I finally got around to phoning the Firestone place. The Fusion ZRi 225/60/16 I can get for $120CAD/tire installed plus tax ($10 discount). The 245s are too much at $150/tire ($120 total) plus I'd maybe have issues with wheel gap and I don't wanna have to buy new springs and shit... So I might buy them next paycheck. DaveFromColorado
My buddy has the Fuzion ZR's on his (year round usage) 3000 GT VR4 and Loves 'em to death. They're great in ALL weather conditions. --Dave.
White93z34
since you have the 16*8 X-Laces you should get a set of 245/55/16s in place of the 225/60/16s
