badassoldspower Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Anybody know of a company who makes a shift kit for the 4t60e? Im talking something that will make the tranny shift hard. Quote
Psych0matt Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 I know there is one, but i can't think offhand who it is. Hopefully someone here will remember for ya Quote
94CutlassXtreme Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 B&M makes an electronic shift improver for the 4T60-E. At the flip of a switch, you can have either stock, level 1 firmer than stock, or level 2 much firmer than stock. Its only like 50 bucks too I believe. Quote

digitaloutsider Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 It looks like just an adjustable vacuum modulator. Quote
94CutlassXtreme Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 It almost looks like if goes inline with the transmission modulator. It's located on top of the tranny case. A vaccuum line goes from the intake manifold down to it. Its the one on the lower right hand corner. Quote
99RegalGS Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Trans Go makes a shift kit for the 4T60-E EDIT: SK® 4T60E-Jr 4T60E 1991 up Corrects light throttle converter shudder. Contains hardened pins and "Tuff" accumulator piston seals to reduce clutch failure due to pin and seal wear. 3rd clutch seal is self expanding. Quote
