94CutlassXtreme Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Seems like the one thing everyone thinks my car needs is a lowering. Now I know about RSM's kits, and FFP's rear coil over conversion, but what would be the best way to go about this? Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Intrax Lowering springs and KYB GR-2's make a good pair. Quote
Bake82 Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Looking to lower the front or rear? Front do the Intrax lowering springs. For the rear you have some options. You can go with the FFP coilovers, but if you want to keep your leafspring you can use a metal birchmount leaf spring. They will build it to whatever drop you like. Most of us got a 2 inch drop. They are based out of Toronto Ontario Canada and I think run about $200 but I am not 100% entirely sure on the price. I know the group buy price was $150 cdn, but I know he charges more than that. There are a few other leaf spring companys out there however I do not think they lower the car much at all. Come the spring I'm going with Intrax up front and birchmount out back. They're waiting to be installed. Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Honestly, I wouldnt trust RSM with that kit, just because of their customer service and sending me wrong length STB bars....... Quote
jeremy Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I think Jay's and AWeb's cars lot HOT with the coilovers.... Quote
