With our new shop in working order I would like to know what parts you would be interested in. Any ideals?

Pick what you want also any piped product would be mandrel bent.

I would like some information, like what size piping you would like the fmic kits to have, what size the exhaust should be?

And whats the target size you would like for a front mount?

Headers for the 3.4 would be nice if equal lenghth, but someone to make CIA's would be nice too. I think it is important that you say what kind of price would be charged for the various products. If I say I want headers but you would charge 1000 bucks for them, well that vote doesn't really count cause I'm definately not spending that much money. I'd say a CAI for 80 bucks. And I don't know how much catbacks go for and what members would be willing to spend.

:withstupid: headers for the 91-95 dohc would be great. might be a tricky design but well worth the time. custom downpipes would be nice, and catbacks like joey b said but shipping one those would kill.

A BUDGET FMIC setup for a TGP would be nice (I could make one myself for like $400 or so easily, but thats a little steep IMO). Other than that a 2.5" or 3" (if you can get it to fit) TGP downpipe would be very nice. The stock one kinda sucks pretty bad.

a downpipe back would be cool cause it can be used on any 1st gen w-body, and I wanna go 2 1/2 mandrel bent on my SE

just stick a K&N cone right on the compressor inlet. i wouldn't even bother trying to make something better.

i would definately be interested in a bigger TGP downpipe with v-band flanges. i'm talking about the dowpipe from the turbine housing itself all the way to underneath the car.

 

a mandrel bent TGP crossover pipe with a T3 flange would be REALLY nice.

 

as far as FMIC goes i'll probably be taking care of that myself.

As for the headers ill look in th those but they most likely they wouldnt be cheap, and would take some time to fabercate.

The cat backs will be offered in 2 styles single and dual exit.

And will be left long to be installed and fited after your cat, since most of the w-bodys are not flanged it would be pointles to flange them.

I will offer hiflow cats but no cat is cheap and i can do resinators or straight pipe to eleminat the cat. Muffler choice is eather what i offer or can be sent muffler free. WHAT MUFFLER STYLES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE?

I have two diffrent cai for the tgp in the works the best route requires battery relocation. The other you must trim the core suport but Im looking in to other options.

Fmic prices will depend on the size of the cooler and the type of piping used. I am leaning towards thin wall steel as it will hold up better and is substantualy cheaper, than alumnium. I will have the intercooler/cai pipes powder coated, (colors are not yet known) most likely gloss black or silver but i have to lookin to my options. I doubt anyone will want one the same size as mine.

I should have a non turbo dp here this week to start making a jig for those but the guy supplying it is being very slow.

As for turbo dp i can get 2.75 to fit but its a bear to get in there and i dont think most of you want to go throught that so ill prolly make them in 2.5 i can heat wrap them for additonal cost, Ill wrap mine tomorrow to let you know prices.

I have been asked to make the dps in ss im talking to my machine shop now about making the flanges to use the stock bracket.

I will offer the dp in steel if interested .

DOHC headers would be sweet. I would buy a set for sure.

The rest I don't care too much about, but a REAL COLD AIR intake would be nice.

I would definitely be interested in headers and a mandrel bent (or as close to constant diameter) downpipe for a n/a 3.1. I would think 2.5" (downpipe) would be plenty for a modded n/a 3.1. Basically, anything better than factory downpipe.

 

As for the headers, equal length would be nice, 1 1/2" or maybe 1 5/8" tubes, and probably the longest tube length you could do would be around 32-36" which would be just fine. I the hardest part of the header design will be getting them equal length. If equal length is not possible, as close to equal as possible would be fine. Really, anything better than stock manifold-logs would be a big improvement. Opening the exhaust up on a 3.1L is really gonna boost low-end and mid range torque, which make it a nice mod.

 

As for price, headers under $500 would be nice. If you were to sell just the downpipe on its own, under $100 would be good.

Okim just tossing up a reply to let you know how its going im working on having the the flanges produced. but i pretty much have all the bugs worked out on the dp. Im trying to get some dyno time but the local shops pretty booked this time of the year

theres lots of good cams out there and if you want to speck your own cam comp and cam will do that too but there are some pretty aggresive of the shelf cams at engle cams http://207.178.130.99/catalog/old_catalog.php just go to chevy v6 there around 140 each try them out i dont have a cam dock sorry
