Ive always had this problem with my 89 cutlass it idles almost perfectly in neutral or park but when when i put it in drive it seems to have some shaking, its not as bad in reverse. What can i look for to fix this.

My Z34 did that about a month ago. This is just a wild shot in the dark but check and see if you have a shorted injector. Number three Cyl injector was shorted, i replaced it and runs fine again. :? :)

no it doesnt idle rough, i just notice theres a little more movement in neutral/park than in drive holding the brake. nothing unbearable. i think a mount 9dogbone bushing) might be bad because its only with no load on the engine. doesnt someone sell poly bushings for these?

I'd replace all mounts on it just a good measure. If your motor is moving around that much in park or neutral, Who knows what the condition the others are in. You know what I mean? :) :) :)
