When I put this turbo on the DOHC I gotta have this figured out. Is proposed 1 gonna cause cooling problems or is proposed 2 not going to provide cool enough coolant for the turbo (gonna be running a 1/2" line through the turbo either way)

Stock: Water pump pumps into the engine only, at the other end is the heater core line, the thermostat with rad hose, and the bypass line that runs through the TB.

proposed 1: I block off the bypass line out of the lower intake, run a coolant line from the front of the block where there is a tap for it to the turbo and feed the return into the now empty bypass line

proposed 2: I put in a regular thermostat so the bypass line is always open, run the bypass from the lower intake to the turbo and return it to the bypass line

on the 3.1 turbo the coolant came from the bypass line, so that might be your best bet.
