1990lumina Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 I bought this relay back in June when I was installing my amp. It's purpose was going to be to run my fan to cool my amp, but I never installed the fan (amp never got hot) Anyway, I want to use it now for my new fuse block that I'm installing. A lot has happened between June and December, and this includes me losing the little card that came with the relay to say what pin does what. So I'm posting a picture of the top of the relay in hopes someone can tell me which pin does what. If need be, I can attempt to take a picture of the pins and the numbers beside them as well... Please, I know there are two 12 volt outputs (relay is for headlights, left and right) Then, the remote turn on type thing, 12 volt constant and ground. I just don't know which is which Thanks Quote
1990lumina Posted December 23, 2005 Author Report Posted December 23, 2005 Okay I figured out 87 is probably the two outputs since there is a switch between them and there are two 87s in the picture. However I still need to know the ground, 12 volt constant and REM thingy Quote
mfewtrail Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 http://www.ripper1.com/tech/wiring/ Scroll down a bit. Quote
ron350 Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Good link mfewtrail. Pins 85 & 86 are the two pins that activate the relay. Does not matter which pin has ground or 12v you choose 85 or 86. Pin 30 should have 12v that you are switching on and off just like the picture shows. Quote
1990lumina Posted December 24, 2005 Author Report Posted December 24, 2005 Thanks guys that is a big help....hopefully I'll have this fuse block and all accesories for now all connected by tonmrrow night Quote
