88Regal Limited Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 It's dull and lacking. I need to know what I can use on it to give it that shiny look (like when it's wet). I could paint it, but with my luck i'll fuck it up faster than a ferrari passing a moped. :? Any tips appriciated! Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 I would try some Meg's Mag/Aluminum polish Quote

Dirty Rockstar Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 rough it up with some sand paper, clean, prime, paint flat black.. You'll be glad you did.. Do the same to the damn woodgrain interior while you're at it.. Quote
bluegp Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Doesn't the aluminum trim have a clear anodized film? If so, you'd have to strip that before aluminum polish would work. If it was left bare, you'd have to re-polish it periodically. Quote
White93z34 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 rubbing compound, then polishing compound would probably yeild the best results. then again it would look good body color too. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I would just use the mothers' that will work great for what you need it for. Just clean it with the mothers' and buff it out a little bit and call it a day. Quote
