It's dull and lacking. I need to know what I can use on it to give it that shiny look (like when it's wet). I could paint it, but with my luck i'll fuck it up faster than a ferrari passing a moped. :? Any tips appriciated!

rough it up with some sand paper, clean, prime, paint flat black.. You'll be glad you did..

Do the same to the damn woodgrain interior while you're at it.. :willynilly:

Doesn't the aluminum trim have a clear anodized film? If so, you'd have to strip that before aluminum polish would work. If it was left bare, you'd have to re-polish it periodically.

rubbing compound, then polishing compound would probably yeild the best results.

then again it would look good body color too.

I would just use the mothers' that will work great for what you need it for. Just clean it with the mothers' and buff it out a little bit and call it a day.
