I bought the ffp mount a long time ago maybe 2 years. well recently the poly bushings inside the mount are very loose. like i can move the bushing in the mount. i think the rsm one is better. should i just have the ffp drilled out and stick a solid piece of poly in there.

The RSM one is just a factory mount with poly bushings in it.

from what I hear Michael is a nice guy. Maybe he'll give you a replacement free of charge, or atleast at a reduced rate?

So the poly bushings in the FFP mounts are 2 piece bushings??

Yeah, we found this out at the W body meet. The poly over time is going to where out a little and move enough that you can take it out of the dogbone, but I don't think it should affect performance.

When I took the factory dogbone out last april, it was in great condition, and that was like what 10-11yrs its been in there? I dont know how you guys can go through these things?!

Parking on inclined driveways can really shorten the lifespan of our mounts.

As do I. 8) At my old house though, I went through a set of standard replacement dogbones in a little over a year from having to park in a steep driveway.
