timoiii Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 I found a Gauges cluster at the salvage yard for $75 on a 91 cutty. I am in the middle of buying a house, and probably won't be in the market for anything more than the necessities for a while, but I want to know if this is reasonable. If someone else is interested in it, I might pick it up. Private email me if you are seriously interested. I don't want to travel 45 min round trip to pick up something for someone, unless they really want it. Thanks, Timo timoiii@sbcglobal.net Quote
luminator94 Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 Well, considering GM charges about $500.00 for a new one, your getting a good deal. Aaron Quote
Brian P Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 The yards I go to would charge $16, ebay ones normally go under $40 Quote
NeverSayDie Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 crap I sold one to Shawn on here for 20 bucks. i didn't know the price could go that high Quote
LukeZ34 Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 I about had one on ebay from an 89. Auction ended at $31, so you could find it cheaper, just depends on how long you want to wait. Quote
timoiii Posted March 16, 2003 Author Report Posted March 16, 2003 Thanks, for the info. I would be willing to wait a long time to only pay $30. Timo Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 They definitely go cheap on Ebay. It's worth the wait. My local 'yard wanted $75 for one too. Ouch. I've been wanting to get a 2nd spare to see if I can figure out which chip stores the mileage. Quote
