5speedz34
I bought a NOS master cylinder from a seller on ebay. I think mfewtrail bought from the same seller. I was wondering did GM changed the design on it? The one I got has a clear resevoir and the level sensor is on the opposite side of the one in my car. The part number the seller supplied is the right number and is a master cylinder, I guess I'm just kinda lost. I want to know if anyone that bought through this seller got the same one, or if it is a revision from a older model. Also will this bolt up to the ABS system? because I think it will. This is the auction ^That's the picture the seller has in the auction. This is the one I got.

5speedz34
I did email him I didn't show any pictures to him. So I'm waiting for a response. I guess I'll call the dealer tommorow and see if I can find out what part number the lumina is.
Crazy K
I cross referenced autozones site, a 94 lum and 01 lum(fleet production, rental etc.) with abs are the same, but the 2002 impala is different. It is quite possible that the MC portion is identical, but the reservoir itself may be an updated version, as Gm recognized to importance of being able to see the fluid visually on safety. The fluid sensor can be pop out, and might be reversible, btw.

Crazy K
umm what part number was on the box/item you recieved? Read the auction the box isn't in front of me. Sorry, I cross referenced, the one listed in the auction is the correct abs unit model for your car, according to him. 174-680 is listed as the code for your vehicle. The other numbers are no longer in the database. I meant to ask if you had any numbers on what you recieved that differ from the ones he gives? for example the MC has a number stamped on it. on the bottom, does it match what he said? (I have a loose MC somewhere, I can't get it till tomorrow, however.)
