supreme_style21 Posted March 13, 2003 Report Share Posted March 13, 2003 Anybody happen to know what is causing an 'E20' message from a factory CD player out of a '97 GP? Oh and I've heard countless times that '97+ factory radios won't work in the '94-'96 models (from dealers, junkyards, etc..) Well I took my buddy's factory CD player and put it in my '94 just for the hell of it, and it worked perfect... so I don't get why everyone tells me they won't work properly. SmokesGTP Posted March 14, 2003 Report Share Posted March 14, 2003 Yeah I heard they have different mounting brackets, thats what all the dealers and yards told me. they had CD players out of 97+ GP's for 100 bucks but a 94 after I found one was 200. After all the junkyards and dealerships told me there was no way in hell they would work, I just gave up on the idea... Now I'm gonna go out to find one out of the newer cars.. they seem to be more abundant.. that is if I can't fix the one I've got now.
