kuntzie Posted December 12, 2005 Report Share Posted December 12, 2005 the motor runs for them but the wipers dont move, occasionally they will move a couple of inches... it like the motors not gripping ... but i got no idea where to even start to fix it.... 3pt1lumina Posted December 12, 2005 Report Share Posted December 12, 2005 The threads on the inside of the wiper arms might be stripped... My first snowy day with my Lumina and my first snow storm when I was 16, I thought I'd cheat the snow and use the wipers as a snowbrush. Yup, the wipers were frozen to the windshield; stripped both wiper arms. I sure learned from that. Just a thought though, I dont know if this is your problem.
