pwmin
so, i pulled off the hose, took the caps off and removed the nuts, but im not sure how to get the wiper arms off. i pried on them a little and it seems like there is something else i need to do. how do i get them off? thx
Crazy K
You have the right idea. Nuts removed, and take a small flat blade screwdriver and alternately wiggle under each side ot the wiper arm. It will come off but it's a PITA. pwmin
no other issues; just repainting them and cleaning up the cowl

Yep, you can actually pull them off, but due to age, and the fact the haven't probably ever been off, you might want to try the screwdriver method. I know it was a PITA to get the ones off my Cavalier.
DiscoStudd
Try a small "jaw-type" puller. I'm talking the tiny ones they sell for removing battery cable clamps from the top-post batteries...
