Crazy K
corning_d3, lol what planet are you from? j/k your monte has a 3100, the 90 to 93 cars(and 94 lumina) have a 3.1 the 94+ cars have a 3100, it's a total upper end redesign of the 3.1. Yeah, I was speaking of a conversion... It should mount right up, but how to make it shift? Actually, does anyone have full details on how to do it? thanks. RobertISaar
i don't know if anybody is still reading this but i know whats wrong but don't know how to fix it: the next time that happens hold up on the brake pedal(from the bottom) with your left foot and the converter will lock. its an overtravled switch on my 95 monte LS and i don't how to fix it other than making shims out of duct tape. White93z34
i really do not think thats the problem, since its been almost a year now siince i posted this, i've noticed that it only does it durring the winter, and i've narrowed it down to TCC solonoid, i just can't justify the work of pulling the side pan off till it completely fails. I hear ya! I've done it twice in the last week, and I have the easier-to-remove structural side pan.
