dbtk2 Posted December 16, 2005 Author Report Posted December 16, 2005 The trans was delivered to my door on Wednesday afternoon at about 4:20. It looks very nice. And it even came with a torque convertor...wasn't expecting that, but I also wasn't expecting them to drop it off to my door either. I have everything disconnected from the one thats in the car now, just have to drop the cradle now (which I have everything disconnected from besides the cradle bolts) and unbolt the torque convertor, unbolt the trans from the block, and take the halfshafts out and I'll slide the new one in. To get it torn down to this point it was about an hour and a half labor including dropping the pan on the trans thats in it now. Getting the turbo and crossover and all that crap off is cake after you've done it this many times! I had the crossover off in 20 minutes! I can't wait to get this thing in!!!! I'll keep you guys updated. Shawn Quote
dbtk2 Posted December 17, 2005 Author Report Posted December 17, 2005 If only I had a camera... I'll probably borrow my dads or my sisters to take pics when I'm done, but during the swap not only is it a hassle to stop and take pics, but I don't really have time to go get a camera. You'll see pics when I'm done though. Shawn Quote
