joey b Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 fuel rails, MAP sensor from 96, rear cam cover, throttle body, intermediate arm, UIM, LIM, EGR or a device to block that, might as well make sure you got 94+ injectors (they fix the phantom stalling, easiset to do this all at once), thermostat housing, the tube that wraps around the engine (goes back to the water pump) And you might as well get some new rapid fire #8's while you're in there. fastbird232 Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Is it really that worth it to swap in a '96? Quote
chadz34 Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 It gets you what? 10 horsepower? If you want to get in depth then yeah, it's worth it. But you have to find all of those parts and in addition to that, it will cost you to buy all them parts. Quote
pwmin Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 port and polish that shit before you put it in. might as well. dont forget the gaskets Quote
slick Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 port and polish that shit before you put it in. might as well. dont forget the gaskets Extrude honed would be better, but much more money. Quote
joey b Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 you could probably get it all for under 100 bucks. Quote
