slick Posted December 6, 2005 Report Share Posted December 6, 2005 Bead blasting is definately the way to go, if you have the availability to get it done (thanks Patrick!!). If not, I would do what Josh did and get Brakeleen and tons of wire brushes. Hell... If you have to, get a small rubbermaid tub, spray the brakleen, let it sit for a few hours, then come back to clean it. Should make cleaning it much easier. If your coolant bypass tube is salvageable, sand it, and paint it with some high temp engine paint. If not, then get a new one. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
