birdman
when i had my silver series still in it just wouldnt get loud at all, like mabey 1/4 on a normal radio, and one day for mabey five minutes it just worked fine, super loud and then faded back to quiet again then got replaced. the reason im asking is that my moms 91 lomcoln is doing the exact same thing and there are alot of them at the yard and i wanted to get it fixed for her and have no clue what to look into first. any ideas?? thanks. dakiln
My radio was having similar issues and I decided not to screw with it and just sent it in and this place really did wonders for me works great now. I have never really seen any review on them but it's up to you, I would call them and ask them before you send it though http://www.mnrelectronics.com/

digitaloutsider
I wouldn't bother with a HU like yours. They're a time a dozen in the junkyards here, and you'd be STUPID to pay the kind of money M&R wants to fix it. Greedy assholes.
