psychopyro31106 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Im cheap and broke, so I cant afford rims, and Im no good at saving money, so Im looking to upgrade the hubcaps on my stock 96 Cutlass Sedan. anybody have suggestions? this is what Ive found so far http://ineedahubcap.com/category_100_Chevrolet_Hubcaps_Camaro_Hubcaps_page_1.html its the one on the left Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Personally Id run the steelies. But if you must have something there, get some spinners Quote
psychopyro31106 Posted November 24, 2005 Author Report Posted November 24, 2005 would you suggest the wally world spinners? Quote
psychopyro31106 Posted November 24, 2005 Author Report Posted November 24, 2005 holy crap, I just realized they wanted 40 bucks per hubcap!!! Ill prob stick with the stock ones for that price Quote
DiscoStudd Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Pep Boys sells decent hubcaps that go for $7 apiece. Most of them look a hell of a lot better than the crap they sell at Wally World! Quote
psychopyro31106 Posted November 24, 2005 Author Report Posted November 24, 2005 Eww... I will keep pep boys in mind if I can find one in town... I dont know of one off the top of my head, thanks Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Pep Boys, Advance, Checker, Bumper to bumper, Walmart, etc.. Any of those places should have hubbie caps.. Hell.. They may even have spinnaz... Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 We got some gold cross lace hub caps 8) Put those on and itll look pimp Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Junkyard = aluminum rims only way to go. Hubcaps are ghey Quote
supreme_style21 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 What are the stock ones? I'd probably stick with those. Aftermarket hubcaps are frickin retarded as all hell. Quote
Burnout524 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Junkyard = aluminum rims True that! But that doesn't quite meet the cost constraint. I got a quote from the junkyard, they wanted $700 for a set of 4 chrome rims off a 02 Intrigue. Might as well get something new off the aftermarket. Quote

Probably cause they were Intrigue rims which are harder to come by. I paid $30 for a sawblade, a good set of crosslace, 5-spoke or whatever should be had for less than $200. Quote
Burnout524 Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Yeah that's true. The guy said he'd have to get them from a yard in Vermont...so I guess they are rarer. Plus keep in mind, I asked for the newer rims (off a 00-02) that were chrome. Next time I'm there, I'll ask about Cutless rims. Quote
Euro Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 get the 97-99 Lumina police hubcaps! if you dont want to pay $40 per hubcap...go to ebay...they're sets are like $40 for all 4 on average Quote
