birdman
see thats why i think i might have one because iv gone around a corner in my neighborhood that has a grass shoulder and i dip the right tire in the grass and get on it and the car takes off but dosnt really spin the one tire, if i put both tires in the grass they spin like crazy. weird huh? Regal_GS_1989
An open diff will spin both of them when there is equal traction to both tires. Its only when one has less traction than the other where 1 of them will spin.
Darksyde
sigh When a 1 wheel peeler starts rippin both wheels in things other than grass.....usually means the diff is gettin spent.
94CutlassSLCoupe
not nessecarilly...the old 282 in the Quad 4 Cutlass is in perfect shape and it leaves 'em with both tires as long as you are going straight
19Cutlass94
My car has never done a one wheel wonder when I have spun the tires Ive spun the tires on basically any surface. dirt grass snow, it has always spun 2 tires. And yes I have spun the tires on dry pavement. I did today on my way to john's house. (Snow tires dont grip dry pavement very well )

It is possible that someone put one in, because they are available, however its very unlikely and I really highly doubt it. Every car I've ever had with a 4t60 spun both tires with no problems. I think I've only ever gotten one one wheel that I can remember in a car with a 4t60 and thats because I was turning a corner in the rain and the turbo spooled. I know my T/A has an open diff, but that always spins both tires as well. It just depends on the driving situtation. I would just look at it as and advantage that you don't have to put in an LSD because your open diff has no problems smoking both.
