JakeMetz63
When turning around corners, my tranny seems to shift into neutral and not get out untill the car is finished with the turn. If I gun it in a turn, it will rev up to the yellowline but the car doesnt accelerate untill it straightens out and I let off the gas and try it again. Any thoughts? Prospeeder
fluid Check? nice and red, or brown or black, or super low? If not, do a pan change, and see if that helps, if nothing, your trans is going out.
digitaloutsider
The 4T60 in my Grand Prix did this all the time, but that's because I could never keep the fluid level up due to the shitty SHITTY gasket it had on it. Your tranny is most likely just low on fluid. I've never heard of fluid-slosh around corners being a symptom of a transmission going out. 1990lumina
My car occasionally does that sorta...if you give it maybe a quarter or half pesdal around a corner it doesn't seemt o know whether to shit or steal third...so it will "almost downshift" then back to the gear it was in already....it's done that since I got the car so I don't worry about it to much.
