Rocketman
I'm ready to put my LIM back on, I've got the gaskets and everything. I searched but I could not find the answer to my question: Do you put RTV all over the gasket? or just on the ends of the valley? Thanks for the help, -Rocketman
spacecadetz26
only on the valleys and the pointy corners of the valve cover gaskets where they meet the intake manifolds.
GutlessSupreme
Make sure you LOAD up the edges on the top of the block when you put it back on. My LIM on my 3.1 didn't even come close to touching the block, so you're gonna need a lot for a good seal. Make sure you get in the corners between the block and heads good too, as said. Guest TurboSedan
like this: might want to use a little more than that even. mine doesn't leak at all, but if i had to do it again i would use a little more RTV.

Canada
I don't use black RTV.......I use GMS.....its a grey type sealant.....GM calls it engine assembly adesive...it works really well.
