Guest TurboSedan Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 i'd replace all the loom you can. i thought it was pretty cheap at NAPA. and don't use electrical tape...use friction tape like the factory does. like Bossman said, CRC Quick-Dry Electrical Contact Cleaner works great for jobs like this. Well the largest size my Napa carries is 3/4". I guess Chris knows of a place in Toledo that has some loom. What the hell is friction tape? Can I get it anywhere? EDIT: I called Home Depot and they said it's a sandpaper type tape, are you sure thats what they use on the harness it sure as hell looks like electrical tape to me. i know I saw friction tape somewhere on the harness but I didn't see it on the wires.
