Guest TurboSedan Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 oil pressure sending unit is mounted down next to the oil filter. temp sending unit - there are two of them, one for the ECM and one for the gauges. the ECM uses the one that is just below the thermostat housing. the guages use the one in the backside corner of the rear cylinder head (on driver's side). I have some things to think about As for the oil pressure sender, it's worth it in my opinion to buy the special deep socket for it. Grand Moff Joseph Posted November 21, 2005 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 OK, I looked under at my car's engine (3.1), and I think I found both of the sensors mentioned here... -The oil pressure sensor is right next to the oil filter, with the protruding wires facing the ground -The temp sensor used by the guages is basically directly beneath the alternator, towards the bottom of the engine Is this correct?? I just bought a new front bumper on ebay, and after specifying I needed a 4 door, $175 the bastard still sent me a two door bumper!
