Point me in the right direction. I searched and couldn't find anything. On the Cutlass Supreme 3.1MPFI where would I find the sensors (temp, oil pressure, voltage?perhaps) to upgrade to the full analoge gauges? geez, I hope that made sense

oil pressure sending unit is mounted down next to the oil filter.

temp sending unit - there are two of them, one for the ECM and one for the gauges. the ECM uses the one that is just below the thermostat housing. the guages use the one in the backside corner of the rear cylinder head (on driver's side).

Does the volt gauge use the data from the ECM or does it have another sensor as well?

Can someone get a pic of the one that is in the "backside corner of the rear cylinder head"??

perfecto. I have some things to think about

As for the oil pressure sender, it's worth it in my opinion to buy the special deep socket for it. I just replaced mine and it's a real bitch to do with anything else as a 1-1/16 is too shallow.

OK, I looked under at my car's engine (3.1), and I think I found both of the sensors mentioned here...

-The oil pressure sensor is right next to the oil filter, with the protruding wires facing the ground

-The temp sensor used by the guages is basically directly beneath the alternator, towards the bottom of the engine

Is this correct??

well, I've gotten back from college. I did my thinking, and I guess I'll leave it be. I just bought a new front bumper on ebay, and after specifying I needed a 4 door, $175 the bastard still sent me a two door bumper! Goals: valve job, new monoleaf, new lower intake manifold gasket
