AWeb80 Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Ya, like the title says. How do I make it so the Intake Air Temperature sensor stays in the pipe and doesn't come loose? grommets? On inside and out? Quote
slick Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 On the stock airbox where the IAT actually sits at, there is a little metal clip that actually holds that in. I drilled the size of the stock hole into the pipe, put the IAT sensor into the pipe, and put the metal retaining clip into the pipe. Works just like stock. EDIT: I tried looking for some pics on my computer, but I guess they are only on my parents computer back home. Quote
pwmin Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 i can get you the help part number shane used (grommet). Quote

I looked for a metal clip, but it's not there. I tried to pull it out, but to no avail. How do I get it out? Quote
slick Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 The IAT should be the exact same. Next time I'm at the yard, i'll pull a clip for ya. Quote
