Navybass
I was thinking of polishing the outside of my ypper intake on my 94 3100 engine. I was wondering how thick it was because I don't want to go through it. Has anyone else ever polished their upper intake?
Vegeta
You gotta go completely insane to go through it. Its not thin, probably 3/16" or more.

3.4dohc
Know any machinists? One half hour on a verticle mill will take the ridges off in no time at all and keeping it virtually flat. Then some buffing compound and a buffer can make it look like glass!
