J Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 a 2 door set of skirts will fit a 4 door?! Quote
birdman Posted November 13, 2005 Author Report Posted November 13, 2005 thanks alot, time to go z-34 in the spring Quote
Baddflash Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 there will be modification needed to make them work, already been down that road. Quote
White93z34 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 considering the sedan and coupe luminas are exactly the same length i see no reason that they shoulden't physically fit, however moification will be needed to adapt to the 4 door setup. Quote
birdman Posted November 13, 2005 Author Report Posted November 13, 2005 like what? how would being a four door affect them fitting? Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 THe skirts on a Z34 dont only run along the rocker panels, they also go up the sides of the doors.. To put them on a Euro, you will need to move the "break" on them to allow the doors to open, and have them look right.. I wish I could find a pic of them.. Quote
White93z34 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 just look at my sig, where my z34 dosen't have its side skirts on, you can see where they are supposed to be, right up to the silver stripe and Z34 logo. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 serious modifications are needed to convert Z34 skirts to a 4-door Lumi...your going to need at least two full sets of Z34 skirts and alot of bondo to make them exactly like a Z34. either get GP sedan skirts or the Razzi ones online...that'd be your best bet in my opinion Quote
maybe2fast Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 everything will adapt except the skirts as said above. you can use GP skirts click my WWW button Quote
stevescollision Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 it could be done you will need 1 compleat set of ground fxs and a 2nd set of door clading first id instal the rocker part it will go right on but prevent the back door from being opened. cut it to fit the dog leg next move to the front door. the clading will need to be cut in 3 parts the first and largest should be only one inch sorter than the door the second is the extra length the last will be the end then to the back door you will need to make a templet of the bottom of the rear door and cut that shape in to the 2nd set of door clading . now you wil need to make end caps for the cut up clading and put the front door clading back to gether and for this the one and only product that can do it with out warping the clading is lord fusor 100 ez this stuff is great it will drie hard as a rock sand easy and some how flex too. it can be heated to drie fast but you will warp the clading.so let it drie the slow way the spare sections can be used to shape the end caps with the help of the fusor this is a lot of work and u will need clamps to hold the clading to gether so u can make your end caps but it would be a first and with the fusor last a long time Quote
birdman Posted November 13, 2005 Author Report Posted November 13, 2005 yea i guss the gp skirts will be the best choice taking into acount cost, time and look. thanks everyone for all the help and info Quote
