For you guys with intake pipes..... where the tuve is connected to the throttle body, what did u use?

can you take a close up pics please?

I got 3" pipe, but need a way to connect it to the throttlebody.

I checked out rubber pvc piping connections, but that is too big.

You're going to need a rubber or silicone coupler, you can get them on most rice aisles at pepboys or autozone.

Tuve, tuviste, tuvimos, tuvisteis, tuvieron

Smart mouth....I used to take spanish....

what does tuve mean?.....or is it evena word in spanish

I just added my CAI today. To join the pipe to the throttle body I went to Pep Boys and picked up the coupler (the red piece). It worked perfectly.

I also got all the piping at Pep Boys.

Yup, "Tener" in the preterite tense. I am missing one though, for regarding he/she/you (formal) I can't think of it. I wish I would pay more attention in that class  Sorry 4 the hi, jack.

Silicone is going to cost you a bit, it was about $35 for the coupler on my car and it's not the right color, but they last forever, definatly worth the $$$.

Holy shit thats expensive. I paid like $8 CND for each of mine. Vibrant performance makes silicone couplers and different sizes and bends of aluminum intake tubing.

Well, I had to get mine overnighted and mine is actually a reducer from 4" to 3".

Adam, check out a speed/ricer shop, they should have one. If not order one online.

Not exactly a CAI you got there.

It will be when I'm completely done with it. I'm going to get a "Y" pipe, add another filter, and put red flexible ducting from the filters to the hood scoops. Sort of like a home-made ram air system.

The shinny thing is a bracket to keep the air filter from flopping around.

I think your hood scoops are too far back on the hood to get actual ram air.....i think the air coming off the front of the car will be deflected over them

ya, you'll get air, but it won't be "ramming" in there
