fergup Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Posted November 10, 2005 Alright I put up better pics of the Magnaflow. here sorry for the delay. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2149961/1 As far as the system.........looks wise I think it looks awesome. I am suprised at the sound though. It is not loud but has a deep deep drone. Too much for me. This is perhaps because of the convertible and there is very little between the trunk and the back but it is much more than I expected. At idle and at highway it is fine.but around town it is a bit much. I will have to put in some dampening material to make it reasonable. Any ideas and what to use to best subdue the exhaust noise. Thanks Quote
Psych0matt Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 A lot of the sound is going to depend on how you tune things, especially in a convertible. When the top is up you'll probably want the gain/volume down significantly compared to the top down when you'll want it up. otherwise just mess around with it for a week or so until you get it sounding how you want. fergup Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Posted November 10, 2005 Psychomatt not sure I follow your thread??. I have never heard of adjusting gain//volume on an exhaust system and as far as I know,, there is not a way to mess with it. Sounds to me lke you are refering to a stereo system,, which of course has nothing to do with my concerns with exhaust noise. PF Quote
