Supreme Cutlass Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 The vacuum line on top of the transmission.... where does it go? Is the connector pictured in this image on the front of the transmisson the TCC solenoid? Quote
GP1138 Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 1.) That's not a vacuum line, that's the Detent Cable, it should be connected to your throttle body. 2.) Yes, that's the TCC solenoid plug, unplug it and see if your problems cease. Quote
Supreme Cutlass Posted November 9, 2005 Author Report Posted November 9, 2005 ruh ro, how do I connect it? Quote

Redwingvksm Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Isn't that just a vent tube...? Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 looks like a vent tube to me. Quote
Supreme Cutlass Posted November 9, 2005 Author Report Posted November 9, 2005 ok, so it doesn't need to be plugged into anything? Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 where exactly is the other side of the line connected to? my Getrag has a vent tube....it just goes up to a pipe that is mounted on the driver's side fender. the pipe is just curved so no water/debris can fall into it. if that IS a vent tube in your pic, than no, it doesn't really need to be connected to anything, just make sure nothing can fall into it. mihela816 Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Is that a 3 speed? If so that is a vacuum line. Quote
