Speaker sizes

Hey gang

 

Need to know what the size of the stock Cutty Supreme Door and dash speakers are.. I am going to be piecing a speaker set together and need to know what size it is..

 

Also, how the HELL do you get the dash speaker covers off?

 

The doors are obvious.. The panel comes off.. Any info would be great guys! Thanks! 8)

 

EDIT: It is a 94 Cutty SUpreme w/ the 6 speaker sound system

4x6 in front [should be] and also a 6.5 inch speaker in your door. To get to the speakers in the front dash, I would simply take the whole dash pad off. That would be the easiest way.

Taking the dash pad off is really the only way to do it right.

are you sure the doors aren't 5.25s? i could be wrong, but i'm not aware of nay ws that got 6.5s. as far as i know they got 4x6s or 5.25s

Both my cutlasses(89 and 94) had 4" in the front dash. And they are factory 5.25's in the doors.....of the 95+ models anyways....I'm not sure about the older models.

4X6 in the doors..small tweeters in the dash...not sure of the size, but smaller than 4".

 

You gotta take off the dashpad to get the speaker grills off. They are bolted on from the inside.
