runt Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 My 'lil 'ol L36 will light up the tires. I can smoke 'em too, at least I think...never tried hard enough. I don't want to fuck up the car too much. Quote
Jcrow Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 Both of my 3.1s do it like this (I have only done it before I got the trans rebuilt) http://videos.streetfire.net/Player.aspx?fileid=DA51F38C-EA76-4A2E-8724-FD4BF87A0254 Quote
pwmin Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 you guys and your damn low altitude! Quote
cutlsp Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 My 2.8 cutlass will light up the tires too Quote
digitaloutsider Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 What's your definition of "light up"? I live at a stupidly low altitude, and my GP would only smoke the tires around corners. My Cutlass on the other hand.. Quote
chadz34 Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I have driven many W's and some will spin the tires off the line, some won't.quote] Yup. I have seen a 4 door 3.1 Lumina squeel decently. And my 3.4 will peel quite nicely too. It's gotta be different combo's of tires and setups. Quote
Vegeta Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 do not spin your tires around a corner. You are abusing your differential and are just asking for problems. Also, ban aaron, be like mymonte and 60v6. He was close to banned on fiero.nl and realfierotech finds him too amusing to ban. BAN BAN BAN! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I think we all know about the dangers of the one-wheeled-wonder, Ben. Quote
AWeb80 Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 and realfierotech finds him too amusing to ban. BAN BAN BAN! That makes me laugh Ben. Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 i have FFP dogbones, and i REALLY like them. they did produce noticeably more engine vibration, but only at idle. when i first started the car after putting them on i was shocked. still, i liked that. i can't even remember if i my Cutlass could smoke the tires back when it was NA 3.1/auto, but i'm pretty sure it could a little. went to NA 3.1/5-speed, and could smoke them right through first. went to Turbo 3.1/5-speed, and now i don't have traction in 1st or 2nd below 30mph. badassoldspower Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 whoa wait a second, my 3100 would never dream of ripping my tires loose, even my stock ones what gives!? Quote
