As some of you know, I am going to look at a 95' Cutlass Coupe w/3.4. I am pretty sure they came with the 4T60. Hoping that the tranny fluid/filter has been changed at least once, whats the life expectancy of these tranny's??

4t60E and some last 20 miles, some over 300k. Really depends on how bad they've been beaten. I play on blowing mine up proptly with I put my GP back on the road.

Put a tranny cooler in and change the fluid, bout all ya can do

asside from sometimes slightly ruff 1-2 shift its ok aslong as you dont fead 50 more hp to it.

if you really want to know what i mean about abuse .. view the video in my sig.
