CuttySup
How do you clear DTCs without going to AutoZone to have them clear them with their ScanTool? I tried removing the PCM fuses for 30 seconds, removing the Emissions Sensors fuse for 30 seconds, and disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds with no luck. manitcor
disconnecting the battery may work but you need todo it more for 30 seconds. Also any DTCs that are set now, if the problem still exisits they will re-appear after a couple driving cycles. If you have fixed the problem and dont mind waiting then just wait. For most issues the PCM will turn the SES light off after 5 cycles and delete the code complelte after 40 cycles of no errors. The only other way is to either go to the dealer, autozone or find someone with one of the better model Hypertech, Actron, DHP or HPTuners tools that can clear ODBII codes. digitaloutsider
Here in Georgia, places like AutoZone can NOT clear DTC's. It's in violation of our clean-air campagn or some shit. It sucks, too. The theory is that someone can't just go to AutoZone with a problem code, clear, it then immediately run and go get their emissions inspected and pass.
