5speedz34 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Well, needless to say that's gone. Now I know why my motor is leaning to one side of the bay. Do you guys think I can unbolt the mount and jack the trans up enough to take that one out and swap the old one in? If I can do it this way (which I think it possible) then I won't have to drop the cradle to do it, since I can get at the mount from the wheel well. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Posted October 26, 2005 hahaha im reading ok im done. ya you can jack the trans up and then remove that horrable mount.... there is not much room but it can be done cause thats how i got mine in when i was droping the engine/trans combo in to the Cutlass. no need to drop the cradle  Well, I need to do my other mount too, and my cradle mounts along with half the suspension so I might drop it anways, right now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Guest TurboSedan Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 sounds right to me. the only time i have ever replaced the mount was with the engine/trans already out of the car. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Posted October 26, 2005 Yeah, that's pretty much the idea I had too. I won't be doing this until I get the mount in (had to order it). Quote
