282 mount =284 mount????

Does anybody know if the 284 mount is the same as the 282 mount? I know it's a stretch seeing as nothing is the same on either tranny, but does anybody know for sure??

The mount is #12. From the pictures I've seen of the 282 mount they look really similar if not the same.

Anyways I looked at the spare 284 mount in my garage. My only concern is the length of the mount. The bores where it bolts to the trans are spaced the same distance.

 

I wonder if the mount could've changed when they redesigned the cradle.

 

But it looks like I need a mount too look what I found.

Cross reference the part numbers.

not the same we've been ovet his tony :wink:

 

Ah.... well that makes sense as to why nobody knows then. LOL
