TeeJay3800 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Yeah, it was probably a mid-year thing. I know W's got the 4T60-HD, but not the 4T60E-HD. I am pretty sure early/mid 90's L67 cars like the Park Avenue and Bonneville got the 4T60E-HD though. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 That's what I said on the third page. The 1992-1995 Series I and the 1996 Series II L67's got the 4T60-e HD Quote

JNGTP94 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 if theres a different name tehn something small has to be different, the use of clutches, or line pressures or maybe the valvebody is just slightly different, or something. If anyone works for GM here they would probably know or would be able to call the help line i guess Quote
GP1138 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 4t65e came out with the 97 or 98 body style, didn't it? Yep. '97. There were still some cars that got the 60e though, according to GM SI. I'm guessing the 3100 cars still got the 4T60e and the 3800 powered cars got the 4T65e. Quote
