boechler14 Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 i just put a 2 channel amp to power my front speakers and when both RCA's are plugged in the right speaker is nice n loud but the left speaker is really quiet. but if you remove the right RCA then the left speaker becomes just as loud as the right one is when both are plugged in. i just had the amp fixed and also tried the speakers with another amp..exactly the same amp and exactly the same problem... is it the amps or would some kinda of wiring cause this problem?? 1990lumina Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 When you unplug the right RCA plug, does the right speaker continue to play, or does it no play? Quote
Puggsley456 Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 if you swap the rcas from left to right and vise versa does the problem switch sides? Check your grounds, and try a different set of rca's if that is the case. Quote
