1992 Grand Prix production

I recently wrote pontiac in reference to the production figures of the Prix:

Thank you for contacting the Pontiac Customer Assistance Center. I appreciate you taking the time to write us seeking info on the production of the 1992 Grand Prix Richard Petty Edition.

 

We were able to locate some information on the 1992 Grand Prix. Unfortunately at the time of the 1992 production the paint color was not being tracked. I certainly hope this information will be of assistance to you.

 

1992 Grand Prix:

(WJ1)2-Door Coupe =42,165

W/ 3.1 liter=35,036

W/ 3.4 Manual trans. =499

W/ 3.4 Auto. Trans. =6,630

 

Total Grand Prix SE=47,137

W/ 3.1 liter=39,274

Grand Total Grand Prix=106,633

 

Interesting that they distinguish my trim as B49 when my order form and SPID lists it as B4M.

 

I'm suprised to see so many SE's with a 3.4/manual.

I know. I have most of the parts, one day i'll end up doing the swap.

Eh, someone will sticky it eventually. For now, you just have to remember that it even exists so you can search for it.
