I've read the section about doing a conversion but still doesn't exactly help my situation. A lot of aftermarket applications are available for 1997> W-Body, Grand Prix, Regal, Impala. Is it possible for me to swap these applications in to my gen1 93 luminaz34. Like replacing the whole strut/knuckle assembly. What would I need to do to get the aftermarket products to fit? GnatGoSplat Posted February 27, 2003 Report Share Posted February 27, 2003 No, none of the gen 2 W-body suspension hardware will fit. It was completely redesigned. To get aftermarket stuff like big brake kits, calipers, etc. to fit, you'll have to fabricate custom brackets. It will really help to have a friend at a machine shop for that kind of stuff.
