I'm using that door handle right now. Funtionally, it's fine...just make sure you lube up the moving parts inside of it, or it'll get stuck and you'll have to battle for five hours trying to pop the door open from inside like I did.

Appearance wise, it has alot of orange peel in the finish, but that doesnt really bother me, considering my car isn't mint anyway.

Mine isn't perfect either... but I would like something a little more asthetically appealing than orange peel in what should be a simple paint job.

Guess I'll keep looking then.

There is a place here that sells aftermarket handles for $35.

I think I have a spare in the basement it's yours if you want it.

Man, you don't need a thread to tell you how to replace it. It'll take you longer to search for a thread on handle replacement than to actually go out there and replace the damn thing.

Oh, I know. I was just seeing about how long it will take me to replace it mainly. Looks fairly simple. I just have to allot the time in my busy as schedule (and with the less and less daylight each day) to find time to do this.

Tony, If you have a drivers side one, let me know.

I dont mean to say mine has serious orange peel. Just that the finish isn't totally smooth.

You cant even tell in this pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/torotoro/66442082.jpg

As far as how long it takes...it took me about a half hour in the freezing cold. Trickiest part is getting the lock cylinder components together again... theres a bunch of small pieces and springs and shit.

Only other thing I can say is to not overtighten the bolts that hold it on. I ended up denting mine a little bit.

Hmm.... well it appears they have ebay auctions as well. I'll compare there website shipping price to there ebay shipping price. Whichever is cheapest gets the sale.

That is, unless I can get that door handle from Tony before then.

I've bought like three from that company. They've all been excellent IMO.
