19Cutlass94 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Anything bosch in our cars = bad idea Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Some Bosch parts are okay. I have Bosch Premium Mag Core wires and they work great. I'll stick with AC Delco for oil filters though. Quote
3pt1lumina Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 i go purolator oil filters all the way... never have or will run anything different Quote
1990lumina Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 LL Bsoch stuff is shit...my alternator is still working ....anyway, I think we've had a couple threads about oil filters and what's best...I'll do a search and see if I can find of them ! Quote

SigEpCutlass Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 the only good stuff bosch makes for our cars is wipers. Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 the only good stuff bosch makes for our cars is wipers. not even that. Bosch wipers chatter horribly on my '93, while cheap Anco's work great. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Ancos are actually expensive here, if you can even find them. Everything here is trico Quote

Bosch wipers chatter horribly on my '93, while cheap Anco's work great. wtf are you talking about. I use the top of the line Bosch (MicroBlade Excel i think?). They are awesome when paired with RainX on my windshield. I highly recommend the combination to anyone. Quote
sdwhite Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 I had bad luck with Bosch wipers too... had 'em for a couple months when they started leaving a big streak in the middle of the stroke. I'd never pay what they want for them. Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 what the hell? the bosch wipers were the first ones i bought that actually didn't streak or anything on the cutlass. Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 I have Bosch Micro Edge Excel's and they chatter like crazy too. I think it's more because of the dirty windshield then anything else. Quote
gp90se Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 wipers suck on our cars because of the angle of the blade and bosch blades dont get along. I ran a bosch oil filter, I was impressed it didnt suck. after 3k beaten miles, the oil pressure was still good when hot idling. stick 2 delco Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 I mean if the bosch wipers suck, that says something about them doesnt it. I think the only thing bosch that I might even think about puttin on my car if I had to would be an O2 sensor. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 NEVER USE A BOSCH O2 SENSOR. Unless of course, you like changing them every 100 miles. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 NEVER USE A BOSCH O2 SENSOR. Unless of course, you like changing them every 100 miles. They are worse than the Bosch plugs. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 wow, lol nevermind that then! Does bosch even make one product that works? Quote
88Regal Limited Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 just get a wix. They work fine for me! Quote

Smoke1991 Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 NEVER USE A BOSCH O2 SENSOR. Unless of course, you like changing them every 100 miles. as a service employee at Pepboys (stfu) we got bosh everything, wp's, alts...etc sensors ...etc everything... Dont use any of it!!! im just taking a brake right now from doing a tune up, got some nice delco plugs, delco wires, and a delco O2 BOSH sucks, and no they cant even make wipers neither... thats why if we only have the part in bosh brand we usually Outside purchase the part for the customers vechial, becase we dont want the headic of fixing the car 2x and a poed customer. fuck comebacks. the bottom line, use oem parts...
